This is a great, amazing, awsome book.
Rae Morris is beyond the artist point..i cant find words to describe her.
the structure of the book is amazing, easy to follow, looks that are actually wearable and yet stunning. I used to do always my eyes first coz i use lots of materials that fall out (glitter etc) and when i read that an actual make-up artist does that too i was amazed, coz like all my friends apply foundation first and then spent time cleaning the area around!(which for me is a waste of time plus it destroys all tha foundation work you've done). Anyway i'm now applying all of her tips, especially the eyes prepping tips coz they work amazingly.. the eyeshadow stays and stays and stays without creasing or anything all day, and i work long hours.
The loos that are in there are great, new and easy to follow except maybe 2 or 3 which will take a bit of practise but thay are so beautiful its definetly worth the try!!
I 'd definetely recommend this book, its so well structured and simple but fabulous even a new in make-up girl can follow!

I can't tell you how much I have learnt from this book! Really well laid out, clear and concise with amazing pictures and step by step guides. You'll learn things you don't ever think about - like, wether your makeup is all water based or oil based...if they're different you won't get a good finish! A whole section on contouring - GENIUS! I tried it the other day and I am amazed at the results. This book is great for beginners as well as those with an interest in makeup. It has some wicked eye makeup looks to try as well as colour charts and makeup for the over 40's. I FULLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

This book is filled with insider's tips and there is just so much information to take in for a novice like me. The photos were beautiful, with a big emphasis on eye makeup. However, I was personally hoping for a bigger emphasis on more everyday make-up. Instead I found that this book was more geared towards creative and dramatic fashion runway sort of makeup. Still it is an excellent book!

I generally like the book. Very good graphic and descriptions. For those who are already familiar and have some experience with make-up, the style that she used or show to us is pretty inspiring and can be adapt, however, it is not ground-breaking.

I am very happy of my choice. the book is divided into sections, so it's easier to go straight to the point; the pictures are beautiful and the make up proposed are well explained. useful tips are given and most of all, it really make me want to see more, to experiment, to try. I can say it's inspiring. I warmly recommend it to all make up lovers and to anyone who is looking for a guide that is really complete, joyful and inspiring.
