I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!! simple, understanding, jemma is THE artist!!
I didnt regret buying this book, i love love love it, i love make up and i am really into it, i'm not a make up artist, but still this is beyond help, its a life saver, and every woman should get a copy of it. DEFINETELY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great book! If, like me, your make-up routine needs a little up-dating, then this is the book for you. It's full of tips and different styles for all occaions. My teenage daughter thought it amazing too.

I was a little unsure when ordering this book just how good it would be. I was certainly not a makeup novice; however, did not consider myself to be particularly knowledgable. Overall I found the book to be very useful with numerous really good tips that can easily be put into action on a day to day basis. I would have liked the looks in the back of the book to have been slightly more adventurous, as none of them are particularly challenging or exciting, but that does not detract away from the fact that the looks are all very achievable and wearable.
If you are expecting a book with numerous complete interesting looks, then you will perhaps be disappointed if you choose to make this purchase; however, it is fantastic to use as a tool in educating oneself in the basic art of applying makeup in a professional looking manner. Depending on your level of interest and knowledge, you might find that some of the tips you read in the book you will know and will have heard of before (I definately found that to be the case) but there were others that I found have made a big difference to my makeup regime.

I bought this book and the Nars one, both are completely different. This book offers tips and lessons in the very basics of make-up and how to choose colours and tones to match your skin-type and tone. There are some really useful tips in there too. Probably a really good beginners book.

Excellent book, really informative and easy to understand, pictures clear and instructions easy to follow, would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a good make-up book not matter what their age.
